WHO WE ARE
Bimar Srl was founded in 2019 thanks to the entrepreneurial vision of the Eng. Marco Toti who made the most of his previous work experiences at leading companies in the naval and offshore sector, respectively Alcinav Srl (www.alcinav.it ) and Gela Montaggi Srl ( www.gemont.it ).
Alcinav was born in 1996 as a cooperative, from the ashes of the glorious Allestimenti Signani that made great works in the naval sector in the 70s/80s acquiring a deep experience in the 360° naval fittings sector (from the carpentry sector, deck fittings, shaft lines etc.). From the carpentry department, the Alcinav Scrl cooperative was born in 1996, founded by the former employees, with the aim of carrying forward that specific sector. In 2009 it was acquired by Gela Montaggi Srl becoming part of the group. From here the profound renewal in terms of technologies and work organization as well as the commercial part to face the market demand.
The mission of Bimar Srl is not to limit itself to the creation of the best product but to offer a total safety after-sales service of the same.
Gela Montaggi Srl has always operated in the offshore and onshore sector, winning over the years increasingly important contracts for the modernization and refurbishment of accommodation modules, continuous maintenance on offshore platforms, up to the complete construction (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) of a support and workover vessel for the Saipem group with a capacity of 100 beds (Saipem TAD).
Thanks to a careful selection of personnel, which boasts many years of experience in the reference market, technological innovation is a constantly evolving target. The adoption of the latest design technologies with 3D software and the use of cutting-edge machinery (see machinery list) is in fact an obligatory step in this perspective of continuous evolution.
