The services we offer are the result of the merger of Gela Montaggi Srl (www.gemont.it) which, with its long history in the offshore sector, has accumulated extensive experience in one of the most severe sectors both in terms of working conditions and safety regulations. Thanks to our highly qualified and loyal staff, we are able to offer the following services:
Fire door installation
From the manufacturer to the user, providing a turnkey service, we offer the assembly service of our fire doors using direct personnel with high levels of experience and safety, trained and used to work according to all the necessary precautions (both on the boat during construction and close to delivery).
After-sales assistance / maintenance
We are able to carry out periodic maintenance checks/registrations on fire doors, both swing and sliding, both manual and automatic ones.
Exhaust gas line assembly (Yacht)
Exhaust gas assembly activities on board of yachts and mega yachts, whether wet or smokestack exhausts. Assembly of components (mufflers, SCR, silencers, bellows) and large diameter ducts (350mm / 400mm) from the engine room to the smokestack. Welding of support brackets and installation of anti-vibration supports on substructure supplied by the shipyard. Piping welding (stainless steel or carbon steel) with licensed and certified welders (TIG/MIG/Electrode welding depending on customer specifications).
Engine rollbar assembly (engine mounts)
Assembly (and supply to design) of support structure around the engines that hold the muffler (engine mount or rollbar), made according to the customer’s specifications (in polished stainless steel or painted steel). Polishing at customer’s expense.
Assembly of hydraulic movements
Assembly of hydraulic movements (oleodynamics) on board of yachts and megayachts such as ladders, bathing ladders, stern gangways, hatches, telescopic cranes, etc. We carry out with our own personnel the operations of boarding and positioning of the artifacts, mechanical installation, alignments, centering and preliminary testing with our service hydraulic control unit. On request, the package can be expanded with the electrical part (usually excluded from our contract) and definitive hydraulic connection (same as above).
Various assemblies
In general, in addition to the above-mentioned activities consolidated over time, we carry out other types of installations of various metal sheet working (for example battery boxes, fixed windows for ECR (Engine Control Room) rooms or piping or various types of brackets in technical rooms.
